I don’t know about you, but I like to carry around a lot of stuff in my purse. Like many women I probably don’t need a lot of the things that are in my purse. Surely I could do without the endless scraps of paper, receipts, packs of gum, hair clips, rubber bands, and other assorted items in my purse, but for some reason they’re just too precious to part with.

A bunch of stuff calls for a big bag. I have found that tote bags work well for my purposes. A tote bag is big enough to store all my stuff and more. I have even used an over-sized tote bag for an overnight trip before. Men may choose to assert their masculinity by driving tiny, fast sports cars. But all I need to prove my womanhood is a big purse chock full of stuff I don’t need. Last week I found a great deal on a replica Prada tote for less than a quarter the price of the real thing.
