Every woman needs an elegant handbag. It is more than a fashion accessory, as it reflects your style, personality and look; it is with you all day long and keeps all your essentials safe and accessible; it puts the finishing touch to your whole image, so finding the right bag is an important and often overwhelming decision.

But the thing is, beyond being a container for our lipstick, our car keys, wallet, and all those things we could not possibly survive a trip outside our houses without, a purse is a fashion accessory, and a powerful one at that too. A purse underscores your look and accentuates the curves of the body. We may not realize it, but whoever looks at us most likely gets his or her eyes drawn first to the purse we are carrying. Therefore, a purse can build your look up or destroy it completely.

These tips may seem like a lot to think about, but think of the time and money you’ll save, plus the added bonus of finding your perfect bag.

Preferences:

* Color: What color(s) do you like? What is the color you often carry? Before you decide on a color change, consider how you plan to use it.

* Shape: Lightweight or structured?

* Opening: Do you prefer zip, drawstring, flap, buckle, toggle or magnetic closures

* Straps: Are you into shoulder bags, top handles, clutches, totes? Also consider the strap type …thick, thin or rolled.

* Extras: What are the added items that you love … protective feet on the bottom, cell and zip pockets, external pockets, special details?

* Load Style – What works for you? Do you simply need something to hold your wallet and keys, or are you the “carry everything” type?

* Bag Load-Ability – Will the bag accommodate your load style, plus how easy can you access everything?
