Favorite Valentine’s Day Gift

I’ve been married for about five years now, and my husband has given me all kinds of different gifts for Valentine’s Day (though he always remembers the roses!).  I have to say, my favorite gift was the one he bought me last year.  He somehow managed to acquire an oversized (but empty) box of chocolates.  Inside, he hid a replica Dolce and Gabbana tote.  He presented the box to me on Valentine’s Day, and I kissed him and thanked him.  Thinking it was just chocolates, I told him I’d open it after we had gone out to dinner.  Then he said “I think you should open it now” and smiled.

I opened the gift, and of course, was expecting chocolate and found a delightful tote!  My husband did a great job selecting it too; it wasn’t one of those low quality replicas that you find on street corners, but the real deal!  My husband told me it was fake when I opened it (I wouldn’t expect the real thing) but my friends couldn’t tell the difference.
